Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile

What a beautiful day to go jogging. And I am so lucky to have babysitters for little Henrik! I am enjoying the fall in Sandnes, and the remarkable nice weather. This, along with spending the days with what must be the happiest baby boy around cannot really be described properly. In short, I am definitely in a privileged situation!

I have breastfed Henrik up until now, and I have compensated by eating more cinnamon buns and chocolate than ever before. Recently I have started to be a bit more critical to what I eat...! This is an example of a healthier snack that I went for the other night - dried bananas, roasted unsalted peanuts and 70 % chocolate chips.

A small handful of the dark chocolate and the unsalted peanuts are also really yummy in bowl of vanilla flavored "mager kesam"!

Fall - a great season

Henrik and I recently visited grandparents in Trondheim. Busy, but very nice. As you can see, during our visit I discovered that the iPad is a great tool for distracting (or focusing?) a little boy for a while!

Tomorrow I'm teaching cardio step interval at Elixia Sandnes. Afterwards, we have baby swim as a family activity - at "Delfinen" (the dolphin) in Stavanger.

Can you believe October is knocking on our door? It has been a terrific fall so far, and I am so lucky to be able to spend so much time with our baby boy!

Forever and a day!

Oh my goodness... It's been so long - I don't even know where to start. I guess I can start with making a promise to try to be better?! Anyway, what has happened... I'll do a short recap of major events. In November of last year we moved from Trondheim to Sandnes (still Norway!). We've moved into a brand new house where we've been able to make a lot of the choices ourselves. So the kitchen, the cabinets, the floor boards - you name it, it's the way we want it. I wont lie though, moving into a new house has been a lot of work! A lot of stuff has not been up to par, and we haven't been able to follow the building process closely, as we've been in a different part of the country. So - a lot of the work has been to correct things after we've moved in. Oh well. I'm still happy with our new home!

The biggest news, however, must be the little guy...Henrik! I gave birth to our firstborn in April of this year. He's already four months! I can't believe how much joy he has brought into our lives. He starts off every single day with a smile, and makes me happy throughout the day. I'm on maternity leave, and wont return til work until Januar 1st 2014. First priority; quality time with the little one!

And as it turns out - he needs my attention at this very moment!

Be right back ;).
