Inspiration from up and coming instructors

Recently I had a discussion with my husband. My claim was that I never go on trips with my girlfriends (and because I thought it would gain my cause I put the responsibility for this on his shoulders). He correctly pointed out that I'm generally more occupied on the weekends than him, although he's done weekend trips abroad with his pals on several occasions over the last year. My argument was that I work on the weekends, which is undeniably true. However, after going over the group fitness conventions I've visited during the last decade - every single one with one or some of my best girlfriends I had to admit that the discussion was set on false pretenses.

I do go on trips with my girlfriends, I just do it in the disguise of work!

The same thing can be said for two weekends this fall where I've been teaching another instructor training for SiT idrett. Today was my last day - and I'm full of inspiration. The endurance and positive attitude of the participants is nothing less of impressive as they are continuously pushing their limits and moving outside of the comfort zone.

I consider myself lucky to have the best combined hobby and job in the world, and I'm thankful for all the great colleagues and participants I get to spend time with!
